Australian-born, award winning visual artist, Lisa Roet’s Pri-Mates present her fascination with, and experience as a witness of research into, primate behaviour. Roet works in photography, drawing, multimedia, and sculpture to interpret and express her observations. The winner of the prestigious 2003 National Gallery of Australia Sculpture Prize and finalist in the 2004 Helen Lempriere National Sculpture Award with Mother and Child, Roet is recognised as one of Australia’s most collectable young artists.
